A fantastic look at what to some might be obscure french surf tunes from the 60s. The vibe is cool, the playing is cool, and while the production is modern in a good way, this is still a faithful interpretation of the originals.

I just received my vinyl copy of 1961 in the post today and it's spinning on the platter as I type. Oh the twang. I absolutely love this album. And the fact that I can listen to it on vinyl makes it even better!
